Beautiful earrings. May I ask, what do you mean by double crochet loop, the actual loop like you would make as a fringe? This is confusing to me
I'm sorry I don't understand your question about the double crochet loop? Could you please point out where it is you see that so I can help you with it? Thank you.
#3 sl st inside chain 3 - DC LOOP....that's what I don't understand, if it's a loop, as in dc loop stitch or do I make a DC inside the chain 3? Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I bought all the materials needed last nite to make 2 gifts and really am stuck on that part. Thanks, Cynthia (my name's Cynthia also :)
Cynthia, i may have accidently left you an email. Mine is butterbeans3@verizon.net
I certainly, after reading alot of your blogs, realize how very busy you are (your mom's a very beautiful woman)....so i am hoping you get back to me here on your site. I tried crocheting the earring using a double crochet loop and it didn't look like yours :( Will appreciate very much the time you take to answer the above question. Sincerely, Cindy
Your tutorial is an awesome inspiration! Many thanks for sharing. I would like to feature your designs at http://www.handmade-jewelry-club.com/

Ijust tried making these earrings also....as anonymous stated above item#3 "crochet loop"...doesn't say if it's a stitch which would not really have a place in an earring pattern. Would like to make them if you would kindly correct the pattern......Teresa
Want to make this pattern but don't know what a dc loop is. I'm an experienced crocheter. THis doesn't seem to make sense...and I've seen where others posted comments on it. Would so appreciate a response....would make a very nice gift!!
@ Everyone: The "dc loop" in #3 is actually to be read the "ch3-dc loop" made in #2. Sorry for the confusion. You make the ch 3, dc and sl st into the beg st, leaving your starting point for the next row in the middle of the loop, the dc counts as ch3. Does that make sense?? I hope so, I can't think of another way to explain it. I'm sorry I'm so lame at pattern writing. Hopefully someday I'll get the hang of it. Again, I apologize for any confusion I caused.
